Our program is designed for low-income and justice-involved youth ages 16-18 in the New Orleans area. We offer small class sizes of 5 students with dedicated skills instructors. We work with each student at their level, providing structured hands-on training to help them succeed.

Students must complete an application and interview process. Once accepted, families will attend an orientation session to understand program expectations. From there, students are officially enrolled and connected with Volunteers of America to over tuition and fees, including a stipend for our Earn as You Learn model.

Thanks to partnerships and funding sources, eligible students can participate at no cost. We work with families to ensure finances are never a barrier.

The program is a 10-week, 200-hour paid training held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10AM -2PM or 4:30PM - 7:30PM at 6601 Franklin Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122. It is mandatory that students are present for both days each week.

Yes. We offer a hybrid learning option with an assigned skills training instructor. However, students must pay $350 registration ee to cover the online LMS system. This cost is not covered under the tuition and fees assistance available for in-person students. Also, we will provide each student with a laptop for the hybrid learning classes.

No. Students learn so much more than detailing. They gain customer service, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills that prepare them for future jobs or even starting their own business.

Yes! Students earn $12 per hour during their 200 hours of training and work experience. Students are paid through our partners at Volunteers of America, once they are officially enrolled and accepted into the program.

Yes. ADVI connects students with employers, Internships, and job placements through our Authorized training Center (ATC) network. Graduates leave with Industry-recognized training and work-ready skills.
